An Ode To Weleda

Weleda is a brand my family has been using for years. In this post I'm going to be discussing the two most repurchased Weleda products. One of which is going through round 5 with another bottle being shipped over as I type.
Weleda Goodness
Weleda Revitalising Hair Tonic
This blend of ingredients claims to 'improve the supply of nutrients to the roots of the hair, promotes natural hair growth and maintains a healthy scalp'. My mother was recommended this product by another family member when she started to notice a difference in the thickness of her hair. She uses this daily. I know what you're probably thinking, 'doesn't using an oil every day make your hair greasy'. That's exactly what I first thought but it really doesn't! The oil (which is more watery) absorbs into the scalp very quickly leaving no trace of it behind. After using up the first bottle, results in my mums hair was clearly visible. Her hair looked healthier, thicker and in much better condition. Many bottles later, we both use it and my hair feels great. It feels stronger and looks noticeably healthier. Again with Weleda the price is very reasonable, under £10 for a 100ml bottle. I would definitely recommend giving this a try if winter has taken a toll on your hair.

Weleda Arnica Massage Balm
This massage balm is a must for every household, whether you suffer from sore limbs or arthritis, there will be a use for it. If you live with someone who is mad about playing sports, there is a high chance that you have had to endure the miasma of Deep Heat. Gosh that stuff is potent, it makes my eyes water. I have a brother who is a big sports fan so Deep Heat comes around every football season. However, this balm is much more effective at soothing sore limbs or working on muscle tightness. Arnica is known for its soothing properties and works well on any bruising. It is an effective oil to use on anyone who suffers from arthritis as it soothes the pain and a massage helps with inflammation. Not to mention a perfect post gym treat. The price is also very reasonable coming in at under £10.

Which Weleda products would you recommend?

  1. For me Skin Food is a no brainer and also the Calendula range has been fantastic for my Daughter's sensitive skin! I've blogged myself about the range here:
