Purifying Calendula Toner |
Soon after that event I ran out of my beloved Pixi Glow Tonic and thought I'd branch out into the world of acid toning. I hopped onto the Bravura website and began surfing. The first thing that caught my eye was the amazing buy two products and get 60% off a third offer. This is on both cleansers and toners, bargain! The first product I opted for was the Purifying Calendula Toner. At just over £8, it seemed like a good replacement for Pixi. The list of ingredients is particularly impressive and with a PH of 3.8 its perfect for keeping for us oily skinned gals and keeping breakouts at bay. Not only does this toner help reveal clearer skin and control breakouts but if used over any new blemishes it helps calm it down and work against it before it comes to the fore front. It's normal to feel a sight sting if using this over a breakout and it reasures me that the product is working. The scent is very pleasant and can be used AM/PM. It's also suitable for all skin types. If you're looking for something more accessible and affordable than P50, this is it. A great product to start with if you're new to the world of exfoliating toners.
What impressed me most about the Bravura London website, apart from the deals and affordable prices is the free and easy skincare advice. You can have a chat online with Amanda the experienced skincare specialist, she is very knowledgeable and helpful. I told her what my skin was like and she recommended some products she thought would work best. I loved this aspect to the brand and it feels so personal, more brands should do this. I ordered 2 toners, 1 cleanser, some flannels and a pump for the cleanser. It was very reasonably priced and I will definitely be ordering again. I will continue to buy from this site and support a brilliant British brand.
Have you tried Bravura London?

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI've heard so many reviews about Bravura and this particular toner, but after reading the ingredients I was very surprised to see lemon juice as one of them (4th in the list). I'm not an expert and but as far as I understand this is a highly skin irritant.
What's your opinion on this ingredient in this particular toner? Am I missing something here? :)
